THE PROBLEM
The Cochamo Park is not a protected area and is being threatened by deforestation, unregulated tourism, hydroelectric and real state projects projects within the circuit.
LET'S DO IT!
Parque Cochamó was born in 2020 with the purpose to ensure perpetual conservation and promote sustainable tourism development of the territories within the Cochamo park.
WHY COCHAMO PARK?
Cochamo Park is a call to action for conservation.

Our principles
1
intrinsic value of nature
Nature, living beings and the ecosystems that surround us have a value in themselves, independent of their relationship with the human species.
2
Responsible tourism is a value
Conservation and special interest tourism encourages the creation of strong links between local communities and the protected areas that surround them.
Our focus is on promoting a type of tourism that not only protects the environment, but is also beneficial to local communities.
3
Intergenerationally responsible
We consider that present generations have the duty to preserve and improve the state of nature for the benefit of future generations.
4
Independent
Our work is carried out and financed by our team of volunteers and partners, this allows us to maintain our freedom of action compared to other organizations.
5
Apolitical
We do not adhere to a particular political ideology. Anyone can participate.
